I'm back from my Bangkok trip! I was back yesterday actually.
The trip was awesome! It has been a long time since i've been there. By the way, it's my second time there. I shopped a lot! like really darn a lot! not for myself but for my cousins. Thanks to my aunty that i was able to enjoy this trip. She paid mostly for everything. Heh heh! Thank you Aunty Sharon! ^^
First day we did a little bit of shopping here and there for essential stuffs like powder, toothpaste and stuffs. The reason why, it's because we took budget airlines in to Thailand and had limited baggage weight so yeap. I was so Kiasu that i only brought in 2 sets of clothing. LOL! We explored places near our hotel and found many many places which we can go.
Second day, we went shopping again and met my aunt's friend in the evening for dinner at some Paragon Shopping centre. It's actually a big shopping mall filled with branded boutiques. We had Food court food but it was not bad at all. I love it!
On the Third day, my grandfather went to River Kwai because anything that's involved in army, he will go. So while he was enjoying himself at River Kwai, my grandmother, aunt and i went to shop. We did like.. MAJOR shopping. We literally shopped till we drop. Haha! I made them really tired. We walked a lot on that day. We even sat on the tuktuk which was quite an experience which i don't want to experience it ever again. it was scary. Okay , maybe that's not the word. Thrill will be the word. I swear, it's quite dangerous. I salute the driver's skills man, seriously.
On the fourth day, we went on a 1 day tour to the floating river, elephant riding, snake show, thai cultural show and even had international buffet which suck! HAHA! Maybe i expected more because it's an international buffet but oh well. i was hungry then so i had no choice but to just eat whatever was there. I enjoyed a lot on this day because i got to see many things and also to experience it. I touched a cobra too! LMAO!! The Thais believe that if you touch a cobra, you will receive luck. I don't know whether it's true but i just carried on touching it since there's no harm. Haha!
Fifth day, we were already so tired, so most of the time we were in the hotel. We did some last minute shopping as well at Pratunam. I love this place because everything that is selling there are all wholesale. I was just disappointed because i didn't get to go to the building beside it which sells wholesale rings. We also went to a Bistro & Bar at Banyan tree hotel. It was right to the top of the building. 60 storey high.
Sixth day, which was the lat day, we flew back to Singapore early morning.
Enough said. I think i can never finish telling this "story" of mine. Haha! So i summarize it. Okay, i'm going to bed. Goodnight.
