One Ok Rock + Harry Potter/Andy Warhol Exhibition

Thanks to Kelly, i got the chance to attend "One Ok Rock" concert. It was held at Scape Warehouse on last Saturday night. Before that i was at the Harry Potter + Andy Warhol Exhibition with Gregory and Minning which was held at the Art Science Museum just beside Marina Bay Sands Shoppe.

It was my first time to the Art Science Museum and i wasn't aware of how the ticketing system was, not only me, my friends too. They actually gave us a timing for entry but we didn't know that there was a cut-off timing. We thought maybe we can enter within that timing given and then exit whenever we want but we were wrong. So obviously from the picture above you can see that we were given an entry timing for Harry Potter's exhibition, 2pm to 2:59pm and guess what? We went to Andy Warhol's exhibition first thinking that oh maybe we should just go to the boring one first then move on to the interesting one. Thank god there was this lady in-charge who helped us change the timing.

Andy Warhol's exhibition was so-so only. I don't know if those pictures pinned up the wall was his original work but it seems quite real. I was quite fascinated by his ink drawings. His exhibition didn't only showcase his drawings and paintings, it also showcased the silver factory filled with silver balloons also know as the silver clouds, where he worked at before. Reminds me of "Men In Black". If you guys have watched the "Men In Black 3", Andy Warhol did appear in the movie. Well, not the real Andy but someone who looks like him.

We then move on to the Harry Potter Exhibition. I was so so so damn excited. Was expecting a lot! But turned out normal. Hahaha. Didn't manage to take any pictures inside because we couldn't if not we'll get "expelled" by Dumblerdore. The Introduction was really interesting. We were taken into this dark room where some flashbacks were shown from the Harry Potter movie. Started and ended with the train scene. Next thing we know, this huge black door opened and we could see the train. Live size train but not the real one la. It's the dummy. They show costumes the actor/actress wear, the room Ron and Harry shared, their dinner hall, their garden which showcased the Mandrake, Hagrid's house, their so called sports stadium where they play Quidditch, the hallway full with moving animated paintings. Remember the fat lady who was trying to scream in high pitch just to break a glass? She was there too. I was quite disappointed they didn't show the toilet where Myrtle was. Sighs.

The exhibition ended with the merchandise shop. I didn't buy anything except for the picture we took before entering "Hogwarts". Everything was quite over price especially to me who is currently unemployed.

After that i rushed off for "One Ok Rock" concert. Had a quick dinner with Kelly and off we went. I'm not a fan of OOR but because Kelly invited me to go, i went. Another reason why i accepted it was because i wanted to feel what it's like to be in this concert since my Idol, Lee Hong Gi, attended their concert in Korea. So yea, wanna feel what it's like. It was really a ROCK concert. Everyone in there was enjoying themselves, jumping up and down, singing along. I'm quite amazed by how many fans there were. Because as you know, now K-Pop's really popular in Singapore, i didn't know that there are still people who enjoys J-Rock/Pop. Felt kinda refresh attending this concert. Somehow i wish that FT Island's concert can be hosted at the Scape Warehouse because there is better acoustic in there, better sound quality. Anyways, the concert ended with an encore of 2 songs. Quite rare to see people encore with 2 items. I guess they're a really nice band who caters to their fans.

Kelly and i was intending to leave right after that but decided not to. So we hang around to catch a glimpse of them before heading off. We managed to catch their attention with our e-Banners. What really took us back was their handshake! Well, i didn't managed to get a handshake from Taka, the lead vocalist, also Honggi's friend, but i managed to get it from Toru, the lead guitarist. He was so so soooo handsome. Even Kelly got mesmerized by him. Haha! They even took pictures of us. Wtf. Didn't expect that as well. Oh well, i'm glad that they have such freedom, unlike FT Island. Boohoo. ):

I had fun that night, really. With the most awesomest people. Heh heh! ^^

It was this picture that made me thought the members of One Ok Rock wasn't that good looking, until i saw them real life. They look really handsome in real life.
